Jose Mourinho exploded again. It was a complaint about the referee's decision, and he urged the Turkiye media to deliver the truth.
Fenerbahce defeated Hatayspor 2-1 in the 18th round of the Turkiye Schiffer League in the 2024-25 season at 1 a.m. on the 6th (Korea Standard Time) at Shikru Sarazolu in Istanbul, Turkiye. Fenerbahce finished second in the league with 12 wins, three draws and two losses (39 points).
Fenerbahce took the lead. Youssef En Nesiri, who got a pass from Edin Zeco in the 16th minute, scored the first goal. However, Hataispor allowed a run in the 33rd minute to give the team a 1-1 balance. Fortunately, Enesiri scored a come-from-behind goal at the 5th minute of extra time to end the first half 2-1.

Mourinho, however, was full of complaints. He challenged the referee's decision without fail in his post-match press conference. He said, "It's strange that this game ended 2-1. It could have been 6-0, 7-0 or 8-0. I'm happy about the game, but I'm not happy about the missed opportunities."
He then spat out his true feelings. Mourinho said, "If the opponent had different uniform colors, they would have only eight players left. We are well aware of the 'toxic' league we play. A total of five red cards should have been made in this match against Eubspor in the 17R. This is the reality. Our players and our opponents know this, too."
He also scolded the Turkiye media by saying, "Why are you (Turkiye media) hiding the truth? What are people afraid of in this country? What are you afraid of? If you are reporters, I will be able to become one, too. Tell me the truth, not ask me."
This is not Mourinho's first "judgment complaint." Shortly after his 0-1 defeat at the 15R Besiktas, Mourinho said, "We deserved a draw at the very least. Congratulations to the referee and Besiktas. The worst team has won." After his 3-2 comeback victory at 11R Travesport, Mourinho said, "The man of today's match is VAR referee Caraoglan. Fenerbahce wants to never see him again. Because he smells bad."
